Thank you for the continued opportunities you have given me and for all the support you have provided me with, especially this last year. You have gone above and beyond what is expected of an employer and for that I'll always be grateful to you.

** has recently moved into ** and upon the last review it was clearly evident that Liz and her team have gone above and beyond to settle ** in and make her placement work. My experience to their approach to multi professional working is really refreshing from a social workers perspective and they look at working with you to meet the needs of the individual in a person centred manner that takes into account the individual’s needs, current and past experiences and how they can shape their current package of care to make them feel at home with access to the activities they wish to partake in. Liz and the teams approach is positive/ can do attitude and they are not easily swayed by a challenge. The change in ** over the past 4 weeks has been phenomenal and I feel this is a credit to the work Liz and her team have done to meet **s needs. ** is happy and settled and this is so fantastic to see after a long period of uncertainty. Professionals involved felt prior to he move that this would take many months to transition but Liz and the teams nurturing approach has progressed this settling in period beyond our expectations.

CQC newspaper article - January 2024
Inspectors found people were supported in a respectful way by their staff team who knew them well. People participated in activities tailored to their individual needs. Independence was promoted to prevent social isolation, and to ensure people being supported were integrated into the local community.
People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests; the policies and systems in the service supported this practice.
Staff promoted equality and diversity in their support for people. The service had a consistent staff team with appropriately skilled staff to meet people’s needs and keep them safe. Care was person centred and positive professional relationships were observed.
People felt safe with the support from staff.
All staff including the management team were aware of people’s needs and ensured people were central to support provided. Staff were happy within their role and spoke highly of the people they supported. Management supported staff development.
